Comments about HX460S Vox Head Set:
I am a race officer that uses a radian nearly continuously during pre-start. I am on deck in the wind, but need my broadcasts to be clear and distinct, and I have to reply to broadcasts quickly without putting down what I am holding.
Using the headset means that I can hear radio traffic clearly, and the wind-noise suppression of the foam on the mic means that even if I am on the foredeck by broadcasts are clear. I don't have to hold up a fist mic, just press the PTT clipped to my shirt front.
This headset makes my job easier, and makes my competitors happy because radio communications are easy for me and clear for them. I cannot recommend this too highly for race officers or anyone that has to do a lot of radio work outdoors.

Comments about HX460S Vox Head Set:
When in VOX mode, ambient noise causes radio to act like a "stuck mike", so no one hears you and you cannot hear them. I have tried using 3 times and VOX microphone was "stuck" open by ambient noise. Not a good device when engine running or other noise making items are running.
