Comments about Spare Winch Parts:
It took some research to figure out which maintenance kit worked with my specific winches but it turns out there's only large and small and mine were small. The picture shows enough pawls and springs for two winches but the kit actually contains enough for only one winch, rebuild instructions would be a welcome inclusion
Pros
- Only what I needed
Cons
Best Uses
- Large Boats
- Winch for my stern anchor
Comments about Spare Winch Parts:
Everyone else wanted to sell me a whole parts kit. All I needed was a lost paw spring. Now I have a lot of extras.

Comments about Spare Winch Parts:
The maintenance pack is a good idea but the race oil container leaks. It has done so in two packages that I got and in each case makes an absolute mess of the pack as well as losing half the oil.
Lewmar really has a problem with basic packaging of liquids.
