Comments about Sirocco Cabin Fans:
Ceiling mounted in the galley whilst cooking, keeping cook cool! Down side requires cleaning, relatively easy, then returned in fold up position. Circulates air over bed when hatches require closing.
Service and delivery comments:
1 of the 6 units purchased was faulty, the three speed not working, maintaining single speed only. On advising West Marine a replacement unit was sent out straight away. All good.

Comments about Sirocco Cabin Fans:
Had 2 of these installed on a sailboat. Both quit due to poor electrical contact to motor and switch failure. Replaced both fans with new. One failed within a month replaced it. Then both quit working same problem. Not one of these fans made it a year. Replace fans with Hella Marine 2 speed, cheaper and way beter built.

Comments about Sirocco Cabin Fans:
We have one of these installed in our VW Eurovan. The great things are that it is so adjustable and has a timer. However, we can only run it on LOW SPEED as the blade is so out of balance that it makes a roaring sound at higher speeds.
Also, putting a piece of white duct tape over nearly all of the blue light reduced the brilliance of the little light.

Comments about Sirocco Cabin Fans:
I bought 2 of these for my 35' cruiser - they both failed in the same way. The fan blades become unattached from the motor shaft after very little usage. The timer light is also very bright for a cabin at night. Avoid.

Comments about Sirocco Cabin Fans:
Purchased 3 cabin fans in early April 2012. All three have failed do to poor internal electrical connection. Caraframo has since redisigned this model addressing the problem. Return and replacement of fans for new and improved model very easy via West Marine. Otherwise fans are great for cabins.Pros are:low power use, most quiet fan on market. would only recommend new model.

Comments about Sirocco Cabin Fans:
I have purchased 5 of these and although I consider the fan reasonable quality for the price all the fan blades are out of balance. This causes a noisy vibration and spoils the whole operation. I have had to balance all blades...now they are quiet. I suggest someone tells the [*] makers to smarten their quality control and fix the problem.

Comments about Sirocco Cabin Fans:
Bought 3 in 2009 and have had light use. Buttons used to control turning them on/off/etc went bad on 2 of them summer 2011 and the third became erractic in the Fall.
They work extremely well until the button starts to die. Very energy efficient and very quiet.
Can't recommend until they resolve the button failing issue.
Service and delivery comments:
Caframo replaced the first 2 fans but I had to return the bad ones and shipping from Florida was expensive. Am waiting for a replacement for the last fan...first try appears to have been lost.
Customer service very responsive via email.
