The fans used to come with the clamp - which is the weak link and keeps breaking...we've gone through four clamps. Also in the tropics where we are, the fans are on 12 -16 hours a day and the motors just burn up! Still, they are the quietest fan and so I just ordered four more. Annoyed that I had to order the clips separately - which bumps the price another[$]

It would be nice if the Caframo Model 747 fan came with this clamp instead of the suction cup mount which I found to be frustrating. The clamp allows for infinite adjustment for mounting your fan wherever the greatest benefit will be felt.
