Comments about Blue Max Marine 2 Million Candlepower Rechargeable Spotlight:
this light was a waste of money, I bought too quickly when about to leave on a long voyage of several nights at sea. Charge up the light only lasted about 30 minutes, then must be recharged several hours. the 12volt charger failed early. Its so heavy that my rather strong crew on the bow couldn't hold it up for more that a minute at a time. Darn near useless on a boat.

Comments about Blue Max Marine 2 Million Candlepower Rechargeable Spotlight:
I put it uner my center console 1 time and forgot to bring it back in one night when it rained. the light filled with water and the battery failed because it is poorly sealed. Battery got wet and the wires coroded off the contacts after getting wet just 1 time even after i dried it off when it got wet.
It is also extremely top heavy and very cumbersome to hold while using
I would not recommend this light to anyone
Pros

- Use it at home too
- Works every time
- Works for a long time

Comments about Blue Max Marine 2 Million Candlepower Rechargeable Spotlight:
Not sure about West-Marine comments (and substitution), because mine has worked great for 2+ years. I keep it charged on the boat, I keep it charged when at home, I've used it during power-outages at home, great all-around light. Mine came with AC-charger too, so I really don't understand the comments here, unless Brinkmann changed something since I bought it.

Comments about Blue Max Marine 2 Million Candlepower Rechargeable Spotlight:
Overall a fine light, if it worked. The charger failed shortly after purchase, which puts it in the same class as the cheap ones that can be purchased from the box stores for much less.... and just throw away when they fail.
