Although I like the idea of combining the two functions on a single mount, I returned the item without using it because the plastic wind indicator looks so flimsy.

Comments about 3' Galaxy Stainless Steel Mast Antenna and Wind Vane:
I had to redo the radio system and thought this would save the space it did save. However, when mounting it at the harbor it didn't feel like I was over tightening the plastic nut, but I was, and suddenly plop-plop, fizz-fizz, my nice new antenna was sitting at the bottom of the lake! Good antenna, and rig idea, but the plastic is too weak, and doesn't offer the same tactile feedback as a metal thread and nut. I'll try retrofitting a separate antenna and indicator next time!!

I was able to put the antenna up with about 5 minutes of prep and 5 minutes on a bousins chair. So far it works great.

Comments about 3' Galaxy Stainless Steel Mast Antenna and Wind Vane:
A thick plastic mounting bracket, I would have expected a stainless steel and/or aluminum. I sure hope it last??
