Comments about SeaBlaze3 Underwater LED Lights:

A good fishing friend recently installed two of the white/blue set on his twin diesel express and they looked so good I bought three for my outboard express. I went with one solid color green and I know there is a lot of debate about whether green or blue is a better fishing color. For the northeast canyons I believe you can't go wrong either way. I went with green because green lure are hot for canyon fishing in my area and they seem to penetrate the water further than blue lights. I have see both lights attract fish. I personally stayed away from the white/blue model. The internal switch does work as advertised however, half of the LED's are white and half blue. LED's cannot change color so you do give up some light power for multiple colors. For under $900 I was able to get three lights that will rival those costing thousands.

Self contained, blue and white LED

    By Ron

    from St. Paul, Minnesota

    About Me Advanced

    Pros

    • LED low power consumption
    • No external electronics

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Transom below water

Comments about SeaBlaze3 Underwater LED Lights:

Finally LED underwater lights are reasonably priced and a do-it-your-selfer can install. Being able to turn lights on/off/on to switch from white only to blue only to all on is bonus. Tip: replace the included surface mount stainless screws with shorter ones so they don't penetrate your hull, only the small center hole has to be through-hull. Certainly bright enough to create nice effect, but not as penetrating as the $1,000+ designs. I installed 3 on my 14' transom.
