Very high load-carrying blocks are built using monocque construction, incorporating the head block, cheeks and bearing surface into one piece of aluminum alloy. Only two locating fasteners in the head are needed in this simple, elegant design. Three-position shackle post is drilled out for further weight savings. Torlon bearings and Delrin side thrust balls are optimized for rapid linehandling.
