Comments about Boat Cover Support Bows:
Some have complained about the wood breaking when bent. Wood bends best when heated or soaked in hot water. I put the wood bow in my hot tub for 2 hours and it bent easily and perfectly to shape. Works well now to support the cover for my 1957 Century "Resorter".

Comments about Boat Cover Support Bows:
I thought fiberglass would be a good choice. Nope. Too many times I've seen them collapse. Plan on a pole in the center of each one to keep it doing what is supposed to.

Comments about Boat Cover Support Bows:
I bought this because fiberglass was not available at the time. I was able to use the 8 ft version, but the 6 ft broke with what I consider to be not a lot of force- I would opt for fiberglass next time
