XPI Hydrofoils
The StingRay Performance System is designed to get your boat on plane faster, eliminate chinewalking and porpoising, and improve stability and fuel efficiency. The system is based on the Hydrofoil Stabilizer, now made with SPEED-XP™, an extreme performance hydrophilic material that increases the speed that can be achieved over previous models. SPEED-XP™ binds a thin layer of water to the foil, dramatically reducing hydrodynamic drag and improving overall performance. Unlike simple curved or flat planing aids, the StingRay actually creates lift, improving cornering ability. The StingRay’s ability to get on plane more quickly not only benefits waterskiers, powerboat racers and others looking for quicker acceleration, it also improves safety by keeping the bow down and improving your field of vision. StingRay is easy to install and includes all necessary hardware; the XRIII features no-drill installation.

Very Easy Installation. Make yourself a template before drilling your holes. The improvement in performance was significant immediately. 20' V Hull boat. No trimming of the sterndrive required any longer. Boat planes quickly and effortlessly. Very inexpensive improvement. Great Product.

I placed this hydrofoil on a 40 hp Yamaha mounted on a 13 foot Whaler. The improvement in handling was remarkable. According to my GPS I lost about two mph on the top end, but the improvement in stability and handling was well worth it.

overall its the best money I could have spent...product did loosen slightly during first use because of rubber washers supplied but in no way affected results when installed on 165HP outboard
