Comments about Men's Full Finger Sailing Gloves:
went through 3 pairs in little more than a year. For weekend day-sailor, those gloves wear off too fast. Always the same problem: dark grey colored material on gloves is almost water soluble. Maybe it is made-off the recycled cotton. Those areas are not exposed to wear, but holes develop really quick. As if the material melts away in water. Local store manager replaced them once.

Comments about Men's Full Finger Sailing Gloves:
I recently took up sailing and have used these gloves 7 times out on a sailboat. Holes started developing in the grey material after the second use. I am very disappointed in the quality of these gloves. I do not recommend them.

Comments about Men's Full Finger Sailing Gloves:
I've been buying these gloves for years; I have to buy a new pair each season. They always wear out in the same places: the fingertips of the pinkies. The problem is that the reinforcement stops just short of the distal phalanges (i.e. the last section of the finger).
I sail racing dinghies (Lasers, 420s) as well as cruising boats. The dinghy sailing involves a lot of small line handling, and a lot of it is controlled by the ends of the pinkies and the index fingers. So, it would improve the glove substantially if the reinforcement covered the whole finger. Additionally, it would help if the index finger was a full-finger -- the glove is, after all, billed as a Full Finger model -- instead of leaving off the end of it (this would eliminate a lot of blisters for me :-).

Comments about Men's Full Finger Sailing Gloves:
These gloves work great for gripping lines on boats. I have been using gill 3/4 gloves and these West ones are cheaper and have lasted longer. They are pretty roomy though.
