It also provides better hypothermia protection than a traditional vest style life jacket when worn in colder weather conditions. Featuring soft, flexible foam and a fleece-lined, high collar for all-day comfort, it’s also a great choice for early- and late-season boating, fishing and sailing. Merchant response: We're sorry you find this jacket so unappealing. The Kent Float Coat is rated as a USCG Type-III floatation aid. Without certain attributes, like the bulkiness, it wouldn't be a USCG-rated float coat. Based on your comments we are more closely examining a copy for durability and ease of use.
