The interior of the box is smaller than dimensions indicate and has an odd shape, which makes it much less useful for storage than a simple rectangular box would be.

I got a box that was given to me for my birthday. This box is extremely light weight and thin. The thickness is only 1/16". It has already started warping somewhat. There are no vent holes and my life jackets had mildew on them.
The aesthetic features of the box are really nice, but nice-looking doesn't mean it'd last. There's also no warranty. When I stand on it, the lid collapses.
There are better polyethylene boxes out there, thicker and with twice as much weight. You truly get what you pay for. If it's cheap, it's likely cheap and will not last.

Box used to help clear chaos on boat dock. It is well built, the front lid lock is heavy stainless, and it looks good. It is half the price of an equal size fiberglass box. No experience regarding weather proofness but believe it will be satisfactory. Only drawback is that rounded corners and tapered sides result in a somewhat reduced interior useable space.

pick it up on sale at my local West Marine store. was easy to drill through bottom to screw down to deck at our slip. works well for boat cleaning supplies etc. would buy another if it goes on sale again.

Didn't need a large dock box, just something to hold cleaning supplies. This box is proving to be what I was after. It arrived in good shape, the sand color finish looks good and it holds all I needed it to. The lid does not have a rubber gasket and while no leakage issues have surfaced yet, we have not had a real strong rain to put it to the test. Next will see how it holds up to the Florida sun. But all in all, so far so good.
