BOUGHT ICOM-M34- 5/22/2012, WEST MARINE - WAS NON CURRENT MODEL, ON SALE - VERY GOOD PRICE ! BATTERY FAILED TO KEEP CHARGE, CONTACT ICOM ~~~~ TWO MONTHS BEFORE RESPONSE ~ WAS TOLD TO CHARGE BATTERY or SEND EVALUATION ~~~~~~ SO I JUST REPLACED BATTERY ~~~ NEED a WORKING RADIO ~~ JUST SAYING Eh.

Battery contacts corroded out in 12 months with little use. The AAA replacement battery pack last about 4 hrs. A waste of time.

I was a little disappointed that the original battery didn't last longer. The new battery is working fine and we hope it will last longer than the original.
