Comments about Stainless Steel 12V Horns:
I have to agree with the other reviewers. I bought this horn in 2009 and it was deader than a door nail prior to the 2012 season! It is getting 12 Vdc at the leads, so it's not a switch or circuit breaker problem, no sound. I am going to try and make it work this spring however I suspect that I will be buying a new horn. This time it will have a 5 year warranty and it won't be purchased from West Marine!

Comments about Stainless Steel 12V Horns:
I've owned two single horns and one compact horn. The stainless steel holds up well but the horn mechanism fails constantly. If you could buy replacement mechanisms for the inside, it would be more cost effective to own this horn; otherwise, it is a poor value.

In the last three yrs I've gone through two sets of horns! I wish West Marine would pull these things off the shelf and can them!! Besides fuel, horns have been my biggest boating expense! NEVER AGAIN!! :o(

Comments about Stainless Steel 12V Horns:
This horn truly sucks! Installed, worked once and then no joy!
Why West Marine carries this type of crud is beyond me but I suspect they don't read these warnings from customers.

Ditto the other review comments. Guess I was lucky as mine lasted for two seasons. Very poor value but looks good as an orniment.

Comments about Stainless Steel 12V Horns:
I must say, I am not usually the type to write any kind of review, but I completely agree with the other posts here. My horn quit working after one summer and it was a complete disappointment.
