Reliable jib furling for dinghies and trailerable boats is now available in convenient packages, which include the upper swivel, lower drum, and furling line. These systems allow you to furl from the safety of the cockpit, but are not for reefing. All components feature high-strength Torlon bearings riding on precision-machined races designed to maximize bearing contact area and minimize friction. In order to install the system, the jib must be properly seized to the luff wire, which should have sailmaker eyes at both ends. The included furling line is properly sized to handle the loads. Each system comes with a rigging manual and usage guide.
