Comments about ConnectCharge Inlet:

I installed one of these for a Guest charger on a total electrical system redo. I took one look at the plastic tab that is supposed to retain the plug and cringed. My "fix" was to install a stainless steel band clamp on the inside (wire) end of the inlet, flush with the end of the inlet, to "retain" their (semi useless) tab. So far one season and all OK.

Comments about ConnectCharge Inlet:

This product is supposed to be a hole that you put a plug from a charger, or something else, through to bulk head and keep it water proof.
The problem is, if you don't have the specific plug on your charger, or whatever you want to plug in, then it won't hold your plug. It also won't be water proof anymore with any other plug. It should come with a cap so other plugs will be water proof but it doesn't.

So this is nothing but a closeable hole.

I suggest the 150BBI and wire a female plug to the other side of it. Especially since the 150BBI is the same price.

Comments about ConnectCharge Inlet:

This is a good idea with poor execution. When you buy one of these thru bulkhead connectors with a guest battery charger, the cord from the guest charger fits into the back of this thru hull. This makes for a very neat installation for when you need to connect your charger to shore power - a standard extension cord plugs into this receiver. Unfortunately, the little tang shown at the back top of the pictured thru hull is all that holds the male end from the guest charger to the thru hull. So it works a couple of times - but the minute someone puts the extension cord into this receiver with any extra push and out pops the male end as it releases from the plastic tang. I'll use some marine epoxy this spring to get the think to hold together. Bottom line - cool idea - poor design for holding the cord firmly to this piece. Be prepared to epoxy the cord from the guest charger into this receptacle, the tang design simply does not well enough for a marine environment.
