Construction features a 28" double-edged, braced and serrated steel cutting blade encased in an aluminum frame so you don't have to worry about the blade bending under a heavy load of weeds. The eleven foot, two-piece, rust-proof, powder-coated aluminum handle features a pushpin splice for easy assembly and dis-assembly. If desired, the handle may be lengthened to 16-1/2' with optional Handle Extension (Model 9842006).
