Comments about Easypoxy 1 Part Polyurethane Enamel Paint:
I was disappointed with this paint, the color varied and when put on with thin coats as instructed and later wet sanded and buffed you can see difference in color as underlying layers are exsposed, also they say to sand with too coarse 220 grit paper causing sand scratches to show thru, should be wet sanded with 800 grit. the paint took 3-4 days to dry before being able to wet sand it.Paint was sprayed and had to be thinned and fish eye's were a problem.thinner was over priced.
Pros
- Easy to Use

Comments about Easypoxy 1 Part Polyurethane Enamel Paint:
Used on 1977 catalina 22 entire topside. After partial coat with this product it was apparent all the crazing was showing through. Stopped and put down petit undercoat product, in some places two layers. Then did this finishing product. Came out very nice. 1-2 coats undercoat (2-3 quarts net), 2 coats topcoat (2 quarts).

Comments about Easypoxy 1 Part Polyurethane Enamel Paint:
We took on the task of painting the exterior of our 43 footer. We're in a covered slip so no spraying. Like any painting project preparation is key. We sanded the gelcoat, filled holes and sratches with bondo and then used the Pettit without a primer.
We found excellent coverage with very good pigment content. We used bright white, so some areas over black required a second coat. This was anticipated and well within our expectations. We rolled the paint and then back brushed to even it out. The paint flowed very well and dried very smooth.
We found using a mohair roller helped reduce the bubbles caused by a standard roller. This helped coverage. We also found painting over 90 degrees air temp did not let it flow well before drying.
We ran low on the black for our stripe around the bridge. To save a buck we used another brand paint. What a disappointment. Had to sand it off and get some more Pettit.
Overall we could not be happier with the Pettit. Like any paint you need to wipe down after salt water and wash to prevent mineral spots. Again this is expected.
Happy boating.
