Comments about Stainless Steel Seizing Wire:
When needing a small amount to secure anchor chain, etc. the size of the spool is excessive.
Comments about Loos & Company Stainless Steel Seizing Wire:
The biggest drawback is that this is only 304 stainless steel wire (confirmed by manufacture, 800-321-5667, on 9/30/08) and not the much better 316L stainless, which has far better corrosive resistance. You can get 316L stainless steel at any local welding supply store, but you usually have to buy it in 2 lb. spools (over 200' of wire). One other nice thing about this wire is that it is .041 in diameter and the standard diameter for welding supply stainless is .035" (or you can special order .045" 316L, but its expensive). So if you are building a HHO Electrolyzer cell, you will want the .035" 316L for sure. With a 200' roll, you can build 10 dual wrapped electrolyzer cells. I got my 2 lb roll of .035" 316L for $25.50."
Comments about Loos & Company Stainless Steel Seizing Wire:
If this is your only choice then go with it. If you can shop around a little you will find twice as much at half the price.
