Impellers are the heart of the water pump within a cooling system in an I/O or O/B application. They pump fresh water, via lake, river, etc., circulate it through the engine and then expel it back into the body of water. These impellers are made of nitryl or neoprene rubber. Most have a brass insert to eliminate corrosion problems.  

• All Yamaha impellers are imported and meet OE specifications
• Recommended replacement schedule is every 3 years for fresh water and every year for salt water
