I've been wearing these shoes weekly for sailboat racing for several months. I only wear them on the boat. They are truly non-marking soles. The grip is surprisingly good for scurrying across the deck and hard hiking on roll tacks (toes on the rail grabbing the top lifeline with head and torso over the water). Never a slip or scary moment. They drain and dry quickly. Rinse them with fresh water after each use and no funk.

As a boat owner, I am always on the lookout for good 'BOAT FRIENDLY'/ all weather type shoes. These look great but why do they make them with a Black sole? Why not White so they don't mark the decks?
