A bowman's dream, this prefeeder opens with the pull of the piston latch for easy connection to the headsail luff tape. With this piston catch positive latch, you won't have to remove the headsail from the luff groove in order to run it through the feeder before a hoist. Plus, there is no need to drop the sail or feed it by hand if the luff tape comes out of the prefeeder. Made from 316 stainless steel and features rolling balls to reduce friction and aid smooth hoists.
- The hinge is offset from the center line so that it can easily be lashed to the forestay
- Handles 4mm to 7mm luff tape

Comments about Pro Prefeeder:
I have installed this on a S2 9.1M in place of a "fixed" prefeeder. It works well, but the metric cap screw holding one of the rollers fell out (overboard) at the start of the second race after installation. I was able to find replacement screws at a fastener warehouse but I had to slightly modify the rollers to fit. Not everyone has the tools or experience to do this.
Bottom line: the screws should be re-installed with "Loc-Tite" before use.
