Cap is okay, but of mediocre quality. The patch on mine is sown slightly off true center, and the "scrambled eggs" are glued onto the vinyl visor (and not particularly well at that). I bought it for a costume, and the cap is best suited for such as it does look pretty good and is comfortable. I doubt the scrambled eggs would last long out on the water.

I absolutely love this hat. It's style is so versatile that i wear it piloting any vessel. I wear it on my fishing boat, when driving my minivan and even when i navigate my office chair through the treacherous 9-5. I may not be a distinguished captain, but this hat makes me feel like a salted seaman.
