The Big Brother is an excellent board for larger riders & performs well in flat water or surf. The shape has been designed with the Intermediate/pro rider in mind while maintaining a stable platform for improving upon your SUP skills. The board is constructed from a 2lb EPS core, hardwood stringer**, triple glassed epoxy deck and a double glassed epoxy bottom for added durability. The Board is equipped with a removable three fin configuration. The large center fin tracks the board beautifully for flat water paddling where the outside thruster fins make this board excellent on the surf.
**Vacuum bagged models with Bamboo composite construction do not have an
internal stringer for a lighter, higher performance board.

Very easy to use, started out on knees then just stood up and took off. I have fallen off a few time but was easy to get back on the board. I'm not crazy about the bag it could be better quality. Over all I am having a great time learning this sport @ age 54. Used in the ocean for the 1st time today and two young men saw me and said cool an old chick.
