The Big Brother is an excellent board for larger riders & performs well in flat water or surf. The shape has been designed with the Intermediate/pro rider in mind while maintaining a stable platform for improving upon your SUP skills. The board is constructed from a 2lb EPS core, hardwood stringer**, triple glassed epoxy deck and a double glassed epoxy bottom for added durability. The Board is equipped with a removable three fin configuration. The large center fin tracks the board beautifully for flat water paddling where the outside thruster fins make this board excellent on the surf.
**Vacuum bagged models with Bamboo composite construction do not have an
internal stringer for a lighter, higher performance board.

I couldn't be happier with the board! They also include 3 good quality fins and a coil leash instead of a straight leash, which is great. The only bad thing is they give you a paddle that has an aluminum shaft that needs to be cut to size and the handle needs to be glued on. The paddle itself is made from a plastic which isn't bad for beginners but I recommend looking into a nicer paddle.
