This free-fall anchor winch is all you’ll need to handle up to a 45lb. anchor and with its high-efficiency 12V gear motor it will provide less drain on your battery than comparable winches. Saltwater is no match for its durable white ABS plastic housing and paint with added UV inhibitors, steel frame with 3-step corrosion protection and 316 stainless steel hardware. Includes 100' of anchor rope, automatic resetting circuit breaker, sealed membrane Up/Down switch, 14-gauge marine-grade tinned battery wire, anchor safety chain, separate roller davit, assembly hardware and instructions.

I thought this would work well. I have 17 ft boat with 20 lb anchor. I have had it out 10 times in the past 10 months and this winch fails every time. They have a little slip gear clutch with little cogs on it and they keep shearing off. The company keeps sending me parts, but the design is just not very good. I plan to return it. Thank goodness I bought from West Marine and they have always treated me fairly. I am going after a windless next time.
