The fenders do a good job of protecting the hull surface, but the threads unravel over time leaving a spaghetti like appearance over the surface of the fender cover. While they may be unsightly after limited use, the fenders do protect your boat as intented.

installed 4 onto my boat over Thanksgiving - initially very nice look and fit. Then drove from slip to pump out head and fuel and return to slip. Upon return, noticed that the 2 fenders that rubbed against the dock material used was already showing signs of wear (threads breaking and bunching up). My last set of Proform covers lasted 10 years - I doubt these will last more than a year or so.

These work well for tying up to other boats and to the dock. We've had these same covers for several years and were thrilled we were able to order the same product. You all were the only ones who carry this particular product (knit) in the color we wanted.
