Comments about Men's Beachcomber Shorts:
Bought a pair about 3-4 months ago. Have worn them maybe a dozen times, but only around town, never on the boat, so they haven't been stressed. The fit is good, not tight. But when I bent down today, not stressing the fabric (it was quite loose), and it tore out in the crotch, and not on the seam, so a re-sew is not possible. OTOH, I have had several pair of the Beer Can Island type for years, worn them practically daily, and they are going strong! I'm going to try to return this pair that split, and replace with the BCI shorts!
