Radio worked fine until I dropped the radio on the floor, about 6'. It was totally my fault that the little copper wire in the center of the antenna broke off. West Marine had the part in stock and shipped it asap. West Marine backs up the products they sell with in stock parts for their radios with their name on it. I will always look at their name brand products over the "big" names! After 12 years this radio works great!!!!
