Comments about Stainless Steel Cotter Rings:
Okay, so I'm not into boating all that much (I do own a rowboat). I am a hot rodder who occasionally needs a stainless steel part that will not rust, is sturdy and can be polished. When I can't find that part from the usual gearhead sources, I turn to boating vendors. That was the case when I needed a a round stainless steel cotter pin for a clevis pin. Clevis pins secure the hood hinges on my '32 Ford roadster and the cotter pins I bought from West Marine make sure the clevis pins will not vibrate out and allow the hood to come flying off while I'm on the freeway. They are just what I wanted. They look good, they are strong and they won't rust.

- Attractive Design
Cons
- Difficult To Install

Comments about Stainless Steel Cotter Rings:
Did not fit into my 3/16 clevis pins. Will not work on my 18 ft. sailboat.
Service and delivery comments:
