Comments about Traditional Anchor & Rode Packages:
I own a 1965 TollyCraft Voyager that is pretty heavy and has considerable windage. I purchased this anchor package in the last 30 days for use on my boat that I moor on Puget Sound. As with all anchors, it is the bottom material (sand, mud, etc) that generally will dictate successful setting. I dropped this hook in Filucy Bay and paid out the rode. Backed down and set the hook. Used about 3.5 to 1 scope. The wind kicked up at about 10 knots out of the south, and the high tide was a +13, and the low was a -2. The only trouble I had was pulling the anchor up and getting the mud off of it. Very secure.
