Comments about Marine Silicone Sealant:
I used this product to seal the holes in the transum where I screwed the brackets for the swim platform. I wouldn't hesitate to use this product anywhere on the boat for openings that need to be sealed and waterproofed. I think 10oz was a little too much, so get a smaller tube a little goes a long way and if your sealing a big hole you better find something else.

Comments about Marine Silicone Sealant:
The small squeeze-type tube is terrible. The cap includes a sharp point for breaking the seal on the tube, but once broken, the seal becomes a flap that keeps obstructing the flow of the sealant. Unscrew the applicator cap, clear, repeat, repeat, repeat. What a mess. The 3M tube doesn't do this.
