Bought this for my boyfriend because I saw that it was on sale, and I'm so glad I did. He loves it and wears it almost every day. He works outdoors most of the time, and he loves layers. He told me this makes the perfect lightweight layer under his bulky jackets. It keeps him warm and he doesn't sweat. He also just wears it around the house because he likes the style, and it's so comfortable and warm.

Forget using this as a stand-alone jacket, the wind will cut right through it. HOWEVER, this has to be the best mid-layer piece of clothing I've found yet. Stick this under foulies or a windproof shell and this thing rocks! It fits snug enough to not be bulky, yet it has excellent thickness. It also has a bottom elastic draw string with the ends finished inside the pockets as well as ventilation panels. I liked it so much I bought two, one for the boat and one to wear around the house. Finally, as for the sleeve length, they fit me fine with a little left over -- but I have exceptionally long arms so a normal guy will find the sleeves quite long.

Would be helpful if the description had said there was no smooth lining, leaving the fleece sleeves hard to slip on over a shirt. One has to hold onto shirt cuff while donning the jacket. Also, the sleeves are grossly long, requiring one to roll them up. Had I been able to try it on I wouldn't have bought it. But the price was cheap, and I will get some use out of it.

The term "Jacket" is probably not the best description and is what probably drew some negative comments. This is a very good fleece layer that can also be worn as an outer layer but will not prevent wind like a windbreaker type shell. This with a weatherproof shell is great for coastal sailing. Add this under your foulies for more comfort and warmth. It is really good in the chilly mornings around the house as well. Nice interior pockets.

This fits those days when a flannel shirt isnt warm enough but a coat is too warm. Really nicely styled and looks great. Size is generous to fit over even a bulky shirt and still be comfortable. Waist length is good although sleeves are a bit long but overall still a great buy.
