    Comments about Polyether Multi-Caulk Sealant:

If ambient temperature is below 60 try leaving the tube in the Sun for one hour to allow the caulking material to flow out thru the tapered model more efficiently. You may use your finger after dipping in clean water to gently wipe over the applied caulking one or two times Max this making a nice smooth apoerance. Using blue painters tape on each side of the area to be caulked makes for a very professional appearance.

    Comments about Polyether Multi-Caulk Sealant:

I used the hand tube (no caulk gun) because it was a smaller job. The tube is easy to bust if squeezing hard to force into tight cracks. It is messy but baby wipes cleaned it right up (before it dried). After curing the job look great and the seal appears to be very good.

Comments about West Marine Polyether Multi-Caulk Sealant:

I used the caulk to reseal the interior windows of my boat. After removing and cleaning the old caulk I taped around the area, applied the caulk with a caulk gun and smoothed it with my finger and got a nice even seal. Very easy to work with and cleanup was easy.

                  Comments about Polyether Multi-Caulk Sealant:

I know about West Marine from owning a sailboat, but I am no longer into boating.

While restoring an antique car, I needed what is referred to a seam sealer. I could not find an automotive produce I liked, so I found this West Marine produce and used it with excellent results. After stripping the entire car body down to bare metal and removing the old seam sealer, it was used to seal where body panels joint together on the interior of the car.

                    Comments about Polyether Multi-Caulk Sealant:

In 2008 this product was used to seal the seams in our teak deck, one of the advertised uses for this product. .The product was used and applied per the instructions on the canister. In 2012 we discovered that the sealant/caulk has started to deteriorate and break down. The material appears to be in a dry rotten stage and is crumbling into small pieces. This may have been caused by UV exposure. I do not recommend this product for teak deck seams. Unfortunately this did not happen last year, 2011, when we did another section up on the top deck with the same product. Our boat is a 1983 Kadey Krogen with all teak decking.
