WEST MARINE
Shore Anchors

Compact and easy to use, this is all the anchor you need for easily securing your boat off a sandy, rocky or shale shoreline. The heavy hammer style handle makes it simple to drive the spike into the ground, then tie your boat off to the attached lower ring. For rock or shale, drive the spike in a few feet offshore where the bottom is softer and attach a buoy and line to the top ring. Moving the weighted handle upward breaks the spike loose when you’re ready to cast off. Red handle makes it easy to spot.

  • Style: Spike style land anchor
  • Material: Hot-dipped galvanized steel
  • Application: Hard or soft sand, clay or firm soil
  • Warranty: One year

Comments about Shore Anchors:

Purchased this to use in shallow water with sandy bottom. Sets easily and holds well. Probably going to buy a second one.

Pros

  • Anchors boat to the shore no problem

Cons

    Best Uses

      Comments about Shore Anchors:

After a failed attempt at anchoring our boat at the river with the conventional anchor I found this little gem and it works like a charm. Use it in conjunction with the conventional anchor and the boat isn't going anywhere even in choppy rushing water.

      Comments about Shore Anchors:

This product is awesome and half the price of the competition. The slide portion is neon so no need for buoy or other junk to mark it off. I had many compliments on its ease of use and construction of the product. Only negative is there is no sleeve to store it in, however, does have vinyl tips for sharp ends.
