Bought as a replacement for the original blower on a 12 year old 24 foot Sea Ray stern drive. It worked as expected. Had four hoses already in place, so I bought another blower for the other pair of hoses. I wired them together and upgraded the fuse to 10 amps. Now I have really good bilge ventilation, as well as redundancy if a blower fails again. Only time will tell as to durability. These things aren't built to last forever, but should last several seasons. The old blower housing simply disintegrated from age. As far as noise level, I prefer to be able to hear the blowers to be sure they are running. Since they don't run continuously, the noise definitely isn't a bad thing.

It is very, very noisy. I needed to vent the fumes from my old diesel generator when it was running. I chose the 3" model b/c of size constraints. Although it is rated at 140 CFM, once you add an angle and several feet of duct work, it draws very little. My generator is not housed in a silencer shield and therefore it is pretty noisy. When I turn on the blower it 'outshouts' the generator, and it's sound is an irritating, high pitch hummm! Don't waste your money.

I installed the bilge blower on my Endevour 32. I was impressed by the volume of air moved for only 3A (12VDC). Affordable and efficient, can't beat it.

Good replacement for my 20' inboard. Considerably more quiet than original and delivered more CFM as well. This blower has one more fan blade than the original and a more aerodynamic design as well, which no doubt accounts for its quiet operation. The motor packaging appears to be of good quality and I expect good reliability and long life (only time will tell, of course).

Ordered it online but the specs were not sufficient. I should have purchased a different blower that had specs on amp draw and CFM. Didn't flow enough air to meet the unit I replaced.
