I have used this product to build several boats, most recently a Tang Skiff 16' long stitch and glue technique. The resin is consistant and reliable and the pump system is foolproof insuring perfect proportions of resin to hardener.

Don't purchase anything around the holidays because I purchased a few products around midnight just before cyber Monday and a coupon came out a few hours later and they wouldn't honor it.

I first saw the glories of WEST back in the late 70's in Redondo Beach at the Dive and Surf shop. There on display was an all wood dinghy using WEST and no metal hardware for the assembly. I have used WEST for all kinds of projects. Indestructible dog house has lasted 15 years and still going. Boat ramps on my boat trailer. Deck platform on my utility trailer. I love this stuff. Will buy more soon for my next utility trailer custom build. www.bajamobiledomes.com

I have used a lot of epoxy brands and some of them are very good but I prefer West Systems. The pumps make life very easy and the product holds up well year after year in harsh climates. I have been using it for years and would recommend it to anyone.

                        Comments about #105 Epoxy Resin:

I repaired a rudder that had developed a leak and got water inside, which froze in the winter while on the hard. The glass cracked open and the shape deformed. The rudder was removed, taken into my shop and the glass ground off, the steel framing cleaned and checked for rust and corrosion. A foam layer was laid on each side, shaped, and covered with mat, cloth, and West System Epoxy.

It has been many years since I did any bulk fiberglassing. I used the slow hardener with the resin, and the pump system. The result was great - easy measuring, mixing, and plenty of time for working the product into my mold, smoothing, leveling, etc. This system - resin, hardener and pumps - made the project much easier than I expected and yielded a great result.

Arrived in box that was not damaged, but the 1 gallon container had been dropped before shipment and badly damaged on bottom. It is a wonder it isn't leaking.
This can should not have been shipped.
