      Comments about #205 Fast Hardener:

If you have never invested in the "west System" you are missing out on an amazing product line. I will NEVER be without my west; I still find new and wonderful uses after 20 years. One of my all time favorites is drilling a hole slightly bigger then a brass wood insert and after wetting the surfaces to be bonded and coating the screw with Pam or a drop of oil; then mix up enough #405 until it becomes like peanutbutter and bed the insert using the screw wound down to the bottom of the insert and align. It will be stronger and a perfect fit every time! There are many tutorials out there and the only caution I see is if exposed to the sun- top coat with a good UV varnish, as otherwise it will in time become milky in color and break down. Yesterday I hand cut a very tiny teak box and taped it togeather layed in the volt meter and filled it with west. Today finish sand and using the wires I will dip it in the varnish can, mist with thinner if needed and rotate until even and let dry..handsome bullet proff volt meter! I would be lost without west, a definant must have for a waterproof, strong, veristal, repair of any kind.

      Comments about #205 Fast Hardener:

I have used this alone as a Fast hardner and together with regular hardner to increase epoxy resin setup/cure times. When used alone you must be prepared to act quickly. Get your ducks in row before starting! Because when it starts to setup and cure you will not have a moment to spare before it gets hot and hard. It is fast! When used with the regular hardner I replaced about 20% with the fast and it made my cure to sandable times between patchs a little more reasonable. It stinks but works great!
