YETI Tundra Coolers

An extreme example of how durable and insulated a cooler can be, YETI coolers are built to last. Quality starts with strong, seamless, roto-molded, polyethylene construction, which unlike the “blow-molded” construction of some other brands, is the same as that employed in the rugged hulls of today’s whitewater kayaks. Ice keeping ability is excellent, with 2" of insulation in the walls and 3" in the lids, which include a freezer-style sealing gasket to keep the cold in and the heat out. Details include fail-safe, molded-in T-latch keepers and full-length self-stopping hinge that won’t hyperextend and break. Other outstanding features include nonslip, non-marking rubber feet to keep the cooler where you place it, recessed drain plug with rubber washer for leak-proof reliability, molded in tie-down points, textured grip handles with nylon rope attachment to make carrying easier and dry-goods rack to keep your favorite munchies dry.

  • Material: Roto-molded polyethylene shell; Injected polyurethane insulation
  • Latches: T-Rex rubber latches with molded-in keepers
  • Hinges: Full-length, self-stopping integrated hinge
  • Drain Plug: Gasketed, screw-in plug designed to allow water to drain when partially opened
  • Warranty: Five years

Comments about Tundra 50 Cooler, White:

Wow! Three days/two nights sailing offshore in the Gulf of Mexico with ice and cold beverages in the cockpit the entire time. The Yeti sat on the sailboat's deck in five-foot seas and never moved. We had balked at the price, but are now very glad to have it on board. We may make it up in ice we won't have to buy every day.

    Awesome Cooler, Ice really lasts

    By Jim from Windsor

    from Kenosha WI

    Pros

    • Durable
    • Extremely well made
    • Heavily Insulated
    • High Quality Lid Gasket
    • Hinges That Wont Fail
    • Ice Lasts Longer
    • Keeps Your Things Colder

    Cons

    • Heavier Than Cheap Cooler

    Best Uses

    • Camping
    • Cruising
    • Tailgating

Comments about Tundra 65 Cooler, White:

I wish I bought this cooler years ago. It keeps the food much colder since it itsn't loosing as much heat through the sides and top. I made the plunge when I received some gift cards and decided to splurge on myself. I never thougth that I would spend almost $400 on a cooler, but everything about it is quality. The raccoons at the campsite, that have figured out how to open every other cooler that I have owned cant get this one open, even without the bear locks. If you are just going to use it to keep drinks cold at a picnic don't waste your money, constantly opening it, or putting warm stuff in it the ice won't last long anyway. If you want your food to STAY cold, keep the lid SHUT and keep it out of the SUN, you will be happy with it. Remember it is not a refrigerator. If you put a warm case of beer in it, the ice WILL melt to cool it.

    Comments about Tundra Cooler, 125Qt, 39 7/8""W x 19"H, 47lbs., White:

So my Sister Dawn has the Outer Banks Cooler and we all love it.
This is exactly the same. We can go to Fire Island for 4 Days and the ice
is still in there. We put the gallon on milk in there. All the frozen meats, like Hot Dogs, Hamburger. We put all the canned and bottled stuff on the bottom and pack the food on tom. Also block ice is the best. That barely melts. It really is an amazing cooler. By the end of our trip everybody is asking me to put stuff in my cooler because ice is hard to find, but my cooler has it.

My husband loves this cooler and is extremely impressed with its construction. He primarily uses it for fishing and his only complaint is that it is heavier than most of his other cooler of similar sizes. Regardless, it is his go to cooler!
