Joe Pulford

Joe is known for his drive and devotion to his colleagues and customers. It is also not uncommon to hear him sharing the latest highlights from last night’s Entertainment Tonight episode at the company water cooler. Many of us consider Joe to be quite the celebrity gossip aficionado!

Joining West Marine in 2003 as a store financial analyst, Joe has also held the position of divisional vice president for financial planning and analysis, and most recently the chief financial officer and vice president of finance. He loves working with employees who are customer focused and enjoys the opportunity to help fellow employees learn and grow within the company.

Joe’s commitment goes beyond his work at West Marine. Currently he serves as immediate past chair of the board for Goodwill Central Coast out of Salinas, CA, and is also on the board of directors for Gilroy Sportsman Chefs, a local group that organizes fishing derbies for disabled children.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Santa Clara University and earned his Master’s Degree in Financial Mathematics at Stanford University.
