West Marine to Donate $30,000 to Youth Boating Programs
WATSONVILLE, CA (July 10, 2015) – West Marine (Nasdaq:WMAR), one of the world’s largest waterlife outfitters, announced that nominations for the 2015 youth boating grants are being accepted until July 31.
West Marine’s Blue Future Fund™ is distributing a total of $30,000 to 501(c)3 organizations that support youth boating projects. Dozens of youth boating organizations throughout the country have already been nominated. Winning organizations will be posted at the West Marine website on August 13.
Set up in 2015, West Marine’s Blue Future Fund™ supports marine conservation, sustainable fisheries and youth boating.
