Heat Shrink Speaker Connector Kits
Frequently Bought Together
Heat shrink connectors prevent performance-robbing corrosion and provide additional strain relief for your marine speaker wiring.
Marine speakers are equipped with male disconnects in two sizes (.250 tab for positive and either .188 tab or .110 tab for negative) depending on speaker manufacturer. Ancor’s Universal Speaker Connector Kits include all the connectors required to install two speakers regardless of manufacturer.
These kits each include six female adhesive-lined heat shrink disconnects: two .250 tabs, two .188 tabs and two .110 tabs. Ancor's heat shrink terminals include a heat-activated adhesive built into the sleeve of the heat shrink tubing. When heated, they form a watertight seal between the terminal and the wire you are connected to and provide excellent vibration and strain relief.
Sealed connections prevent corrosion which can reduce the carrying capacity of your wiring and reduce the strength of the conductors. Wire that is not sealed can degrade and break, sometimes leading to costly or untimely repairs.
