Barton Marine's DO 5500 Double Rope Clutch accepts 5/16" to 1/2" (8mm-12mm) line. Holding power is approximately 388 lbs. (175 kg) with 8mm line, 880 lbs. (400kg) using 10mm line and with 12mm line it's 1100 lbs. (550kg ). Use 1/4" (6mm) flat-head machine screws. Best to mount 1' (300mm) in front of the winch. Use of a Barton Marine deck organizer ensures perfect alignment.
