BEP designed a lot of unique features into the 700 series switches. Its smaller size and patented contour lock system stand out. This battery switch cluster features both. The master switches and selector switch lock together to create a compact system that controls two battery banks. The system gives the user the ability to turn ON and OFF each battery separately, select which bank to turn ON, as wells as combine them to start the engine if one bank cannot provide the required power. By turning the control knobs counterclockwise 45° they can be removed providing an added level of security and service lock-out. Available interchangeable labeling system allows customization for a full range of applications. Removable side plates on 4 sides allow for easy access of up to 1/0 cables. A rear cover insulates the rear terminals from possible short circuits and meets ABYC requirements. The 701 can be either surface or recess mounted.
