Often the best accessories are the simplest. Case in point: The Original BOTE Tackle Rac. In less than five seconds it turns your stand-up paddleboard into the ultimate fishing and adventure skiff. In addition to its two rod holders and two gear pegs, the Tackle Rac provides a versatile location to hang and attach gear up off your board where it won't be as exposed to getting wet.

Construction

The Tackle Rac is fully welded from marine grade anodized aluminum and then powder coated for long-lasting durability and good looks. At 15" wide and weighing in at a mere 4 pounds, it also won't affect the load capacity of your board.

Easy Set-Up

It doesn't get any easier to set up than this! Slide the Tackle Rac into the receivers already built into your BOTE SUP. That's it. Really.

Rod Holders

Why two rod holders? So you can bring several types of poles and reels rigged for fishing different depths and conditions. Rig one pole for casting, another for trolling. Or, bring a fly rod and a spinning rod so you're ready to present whatever the fish are biting at the moment. Mounted on the backside of the Tackle Rac, the rod holders keep your rods out of the way while paddling, but close enough to grab quickly when you spot your quarry. BOTE has even thoughtfully notched them to keep your rods secure and facing the right direction while trolling. These rod holders will work with any rod and reel set-up, including fly fishing gear.

Gear Pegs

Located on each side of the Tackle Rac, the gear pegs provide a convenient place to hang any gear, hydration packs or backpacks above the deck of the board so they'll stay high and dry. They also make handy attachment points for other items, like POV cameras, pliers, life jackets and even BOTE's innovative Travelink™ Sling (all sold separately). A simple solution to many of life's little problems.
