Product Overview

These grippy boots just might give you the edge you need to win your dinghy races.

Regardless of whether you're a one-design or Portsmouth handicapped dinghy racer or just want to enjoy fast-paced sailing, these Edge Boots from Gill are designed with your special needs in mind. Secure, flexible and warm so you have the agility to outmaneuver your competition. The wrap-around soles let you "feel" your boat and provide nonslip protection whether they're gripping a dry deck before you get started or the wet gunwale when you're hiked out as far as you can go. The heel, toe and bridge area have been reinforced for extra support when using hiking straps. You'll find the 4mm thick neoprene/nylon fabric uppers have blindstitched seams for a waterproof seal that can mean the difference between a miserable day on the water or one where your feet are warm, cozy and comfortable. A side lacing system keeps your laces from getting in the way and catching on something in the heat of the race. The wide ankle straps not only lock in extra support for your ankles, they also keep your laces more secure. 90% neoprene/10% nylon uppers. Natural rubber outsoles. Imported.
