Grundéns took their heavy cotton twill fabric and coated it with a lighter layer of their specially formulated PVC for a garment that is absolutely waterproof and resists dirt, oil and stains, yet features a total weight of only 13.2oz. per yard. The PVC coating is the original Grundéns recipe that remains flexible in extremely cold temperatures. Coupled with a double secure storm flap, an attached hood with drawcord, covered snaps and set-in sleeve design, this parka will take on commercial fishing and industrial use with equal tenacity.
