The Petrus 116 Bib Pants are ruggedly constructed of a knitted polyester base material (2.6 oz. per yard), laminated to a polyurethane layer (2.4 oz. per yard), for a total weight of 5oz. per yard. The strength-to-weight ratio of this fabric is remarkable—an entire set (shirt and bibs) weighs just 2 pounds. But don't let their light weight fool you, these bibs are serious when it comes to the kind of waterproof, windproof, stain-resistant performance commercial fishermen demand.
Petrus 116 Bib Pants have a trimmer cut and fit than the legendary Grundéns Herkules Bibs, yet are loose enough to provide mechanical ventilation and to allow for breathable layering underneath. The adjustable suspenders feature innovative speed-clip hook-ups that let you get in and out quickly when nature calls. And as if they weren't durable enough, these bibs are fully reversible (front to back, of course) for extended wear. Even the suspenders are replaceable for extra service life. Imported.
