The HoseCoil® Side Mount Expandable with White Enclosure, 50' Blue Hose, Shutoff Valve & Nozzle is a great way to store a 50' hose on your boat for cockpit washdown.

The enclosure is made from a custom co-extruded acrylic-capped ABS sheet stock. The acrylic cap provides a high gloss look and excellent UV stability, while the ABS material provides great durability.

The 50' expandable hose shrinks to one third of its length for ease of stowage and is built with double-layered rubber inner tube and Dacron outer cover. Dacron is known for its tough and elastic properties. The Expandable Series hose easily coils and feels just like a 3/4" braided dock line.

The included nozzle has an adjustable spray tip, trigger handle, and rubber over-molded grip for comfortable use.

Nickel chrome-plated 316 stainless steel tamperproof mounting hardware is included for security combined with a long lasting shine.

The reconfigurable shutoff valve allows for variable installation. For the cleanest installation, we recommend mounting through the bulkhead to connect to a designated washdown pump or into the boat's fresh water plumbing system below decks. The valve can also be configured to exit the bottom of the enclosure, allowing convenient access to an external spigot in the cockpit. The shutoff valve is important for two reasons. First, water pressure must be relieved to allow the expandable hose to shrink to its original size before it can be stowed back into the enclosure. Second, it is important to have a physical shutoff for source water when not plumbing to a designated washdown pump with its own electrical shutoff switch. In the event you would like to remove or replace the hose, simply turn the switch on the valve and unscrew the hose from the fitting.
